Prema of Norton 1st Street, Mandaveli 85 years passed away on November 25. She was 85.
Prema was born and brought up in Srirangam. Married to C R Ramanujam in 1952 who joined central government service, they settled down in Mandaveli later.
Her family said she was pious and used to visit Tirupathi and Srirangam temples whenever possible, besides being a regular at the temples in Mylapore.
Her husband passed away in 2007.
Her sons – C R Ravi , C R Vijayaraghavan and C R Balaji – live in the one apartments block which came up after the independent house in that plot was brought down.
Her second son C R Ramesh pre deceased her.
