Dr. N. Venkatasubramanian, aged 90, former principal of Vivekananda College passed away on July 28 in USA at his family’s residence.
He was principal of Vivekananda College from 1978 to ’83 and as a senior researcher in chemistry guided a generation of students who went on to excel. During his tenure here, he raised the college to be a world renowned centre for studies in chemistry.
