The founder of NAC Jewellers, Nathella Anjaneyalu Chetty passed away on January 11.
He was 85.
Starting out the business by setting up a small shop on North Mada Street in Mylapore, Anjaneyalu built up the jewellery business stage by stage over the decades to make the NAC Jewellers brand a successful one.
Today, it has stores across the city and one in Vijayawada.
